Overview
A browser tool for monitor product marketing. You pick one of your own models, and it lines up every competitor in the same specification segment next to your own range — with sell-out units, revenue, average selling price and today’s retail prices side by side.
It replaces the usual routine of filtering a market-data export, looking up shop prices one by one and pasting both into a slide. The answer to “what does this model really compete with?” now takes seconds.
How it works
Pick a model
Search box with type-ahead across the whole own-brand range.
The segment is set automatically
Screen size class, panel type, resolution and refresh rate are taken from the selected model. Every filter can be widened, e.g. 100–240 Hz instead of exactly 144 Hz.
Two ranked lists
Own models and competitor models in that segment, ranked by units sold, each with average price, revenue and current shop prices.
Refresh prices on the spot
Upload the latest price-monitoring exports and the shop prices update in the browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Export
One click turns the current comparison into a formatted Excel sheet for the next meeting.
Size-class logic
Matches by nominal screen class rather than the exact measured diagonal, so a 27″ model is not lost because one source lists it as 26.9″.
Model-name matching
Price files and market data spell model names differently. The tool normalises the variants so both sources meet in one row.
Top 5 or everything
Each list starts with the five best sellers and expands to the full segment on demand.
Runs offline
A single page with its data files — no server, no login, no installation.
Demo
Invented data. Brands, models and every number below are made up for this page. The real tool runs on licensed market data and is only available as a password-protected download.
